SAN JOSE, CA, MARCH 24, 2003

A new company, boasting two very familiar faces has surfaced in the flat vendible market. VenDynamics, Inc., founded by John Nashed and Carl Morcate will make its first public appearance at the National Bulk Vendors Association trade show and convention in Orlando, FL. There the company plans to unveil several new sticker and tattoo flat vending lines, along with a new approach to customer service. Formerly of Peninsula Vending Inc., where Nashed served as vending sales manager and Morcate as production manager/purchasing agent, the two are no strangers to the flat vending business. Together, they boast a collective 20 years of experience in the business. According to company officials, VenDynamics plans to merge the partners' extensive knowledge of the business from the supplier and operator perspective into a company that is a "true manufacturer," which produces their own stickers, boxes and paper products. "We do not merely design the artwork and then source it out to various printers here or in another country," said Nashed, "We operate our own print shop right here on the West Coast." According to Morcate, the company will not only be able to supply operators with the stickers and tattoo designs they want, but will also custom manufacture products for them in small runs for low prices. Additionally, the company will also offer operators a complete line of operator-oriented products, including folders, rubber bands, packaging boxes and counter displays. Plans are also currently being made to eventually move into capsule and fulfillment services. "We look to be a 'supplier to the supplier' of sorts, eliminating inconsistencies and reducing costs for everyone. Very often the bulk operators have needs well beyond sticker and tattoo re-sellers and it's about time those needs were addressed," said Morcate. "That's the natural evolution of our business, to supply these products to customers as well as offer a source to manufacture their own or acquire stock items such as folders, mailer boxes or even quality 'Omega Rubber-bands' used to hold it all together." On his resurfacing to the industry after the bankruptcy of his former employer, Nashed said that the move was logical. "Over the years, the relationships that I've established with bulk vending operators across the country has allowed me to get an insight as to what they want and need in order to run their routes effectively," he explained. "At VenDynamics, we look to incorporate as many of those ideas and services, and make them available for our customers."
